About Mike Doherty Designs, LLC
Mike Doherty Designs, LLC develops innovative high voltage power supplies for the photonics, healthcare, semiconductor capex, test, X -ray, homeland security, scientific, consumer and industrial markets worldwide and offers consulting services, leveraging many decades in the industry.
Founder Mike Doherty has been leading high voltage design and manufacturing teams for over 35 years, with over one million power supplies deployed under his leadership. Numerous product design awards, including three “Product of the Year” trophies, were awarded under Mike’s leadership. In fact, many of today’s industry-standard footprints are Mike Doherty’s original designs.
Prior to founding Mike Doherty Designs, LLC, Mr. Doherty served as EMCO High Voltage Corporation’s technical leader and Chief Executive Officer for five years, preceded by sixteen years as Chief Operating Officer/Chief Engineer. Mr. Doherty also served as the Vice President of High Voltage for XP Power for three years.
